I am beyond excited. I’ve not been to Puerto Rico since I was a baby. I can’t wait to make my own memories on the island of my people!! If y’all could only feel how full my heart feels right now.

Dropping in quickly to tell all of my MKE and WI (and even Chicago) folks to come see me and 12 other authors this Saturday at the @mketripletaproom!!
@thewellreddamsel says that this event will make all of your grown up scholastic bookfair dreams come true!!
I've added a link to the booklet in my bio so you can see what and who will be there!

I will be deleting all SM until deadline. I love most of y’all but the almost daily tomfoolery in the bookish community has gotten to be too distracting (I’m too chismosa to not just pop in for a look-see if I have access to it 🤷🏽♀️) Y’all keep doing the right thing and calling out the problematic stuff.
As always: fuck racism in any form, colonization is some bullshit, love is love, everyone deserves human rights, and fight the power. ✌🏽
Oh and PS: come see some friends and I April 5th (go to @thewellreddamsel for more info) AND pre-order @miasosaromance, @alexisdaria, @lianainbloom, and @nicwillwrites new releases if you haven’t yet!

Apparently all three Vega Family Love Stories are available on Kindle Unlimited! I just found out right now.

I say this all of the time, but I LOVE RESEARCH! I usually go way too hard and deep into the rabbit hole, but I can never get enough. (😳That’s sounds way dirtier than I want it to)
Here are some of my current research books…not including the stack I just bought that feature paranormal investigation. 🫣

Did I purposefully buy Irish spirits for my signing? Obviously.
If you live in MKE, come see us at @rayswinetosa!!

Since Benito’s got all us Boricuas in our feelings this week…I have an announcement!!📣 📣
In 2015, I attended the RWA national conference in New York City. As I dragged my friends all around the area looking for Magnolia Bakery, we happened to see the @simonandschuster building. I took this picture after saying aloud, “One day this will be my publisher.” It took 10 years, but I can now say, “This is my publisher!”
When I first pitched this idea, I said it was paranormal fairy tale retellings featuring Latine folklore monsters and the paranormal investigators out to find them. For the most part it still is. However as I dug in, I realized it was so much more than that. I now think of it as, “What happens when a Suicide Squad of Latine folklore monsters find their fated mates—who happen to be the paranormal investigators hunting them—while battling a Colonizer League of Doom.”
Words cannot describe how excited I am to be working with @atriabooks and @primerosuenopress on this new series that has been in my heart for YEARS. I became a reader because of romantic Paranormal YA, but I always felt too insecure to actually write one. I’ve grown so much as a person and as an author over the last decade and I AM READY to unleash my ID on the world: folklore, monsters, history, social justice, paranormal investigation, and Latin Caribbean culture.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR Y’ALL TO READ THE BEAUTY AND CHUPACABRA

📣📣ATENCIÓN
It’s about to be A Very Vega Christmas for my newsletter subscribers!
If you haven’t subscribed yet, you should do it now(or before tomorrow morning)!
The link is in my bio!

I feel like a kid again! Going to the bakery before headed to the beach was one of my favorite things about spending my summers in Ft. Lauderdale with my titi. This is a delightful trip down memory lane. 😍

Sorry y’all, I’m going to be so annoying about this! This is a bucket list item I get to check off!! I would tattoo it on my forehead, if I could!!
